On tonight’s debut edition of WWE Friday Night SmackDown on Fox, Kevin Owens defeated Shane McMahon in a Ladder Match, in which the loser of the match would be terminated from WWE as a result.

Following the match, Owens told McMahon “you’re fired!” before hitting him with a Stunner.

The match was made on last week’s edition of SmackDown LIVE following a lengthy feud between the two that had resulted in Owens being fired by McMahon after McMahon lost a King of the Ring Semifinal Match against Chad Gable, a match in which McMahon had appointed Owens to be the Special Guest Referee for.
