NXT Superstars Have Additional Responsibilities Now The Brand Is On TV

The recent move for NXT to the USA Network has come with additional responsibilities for talent on the gold and black brand.

The Wrestling Observer Newsletter is reporting that NXT talent is now required to attend mandatory rehearsals on Tuesday's to go over plans for the show which broadcasts live on Wednesday night on USA Network.

The reason for this is to get talent ready for when they move over to the main roster.

"The talent is also required to do a full rehearsal every Tuesday night at Full Sail for the Wednesday television. This will happen weekly and it’s mandatory, even for those with a decent amount of television experience."

In addition, WWE is being paid a lot of money by USA Network for NXT, around $30 million a year but as yet NXT talent has yet to receive a pay rise, with most earning less than $100,000.

Given the brand is now being viewed as a third brand and on television, it is likely pay rises will come over the next few months which should please talent.
