For those wondering, WWE Hall of Famer Goldberg is expected to occasionally return to WWE TV to destroy opponents. The role will be similar to what WWE legend and icon Bruno Sammartino had back in the day.

Dave Meltzer of the Wrestling Observer notes the rol will eventually go to Brock Lesnar in the future:

"Long-term the idea would be Goldberg in that role for several more years, and eventually that role would go to Lesnar."
