Fite Announces AEW Weekly TV Series Offered Via FITE To International Markets

Yesterday, it was announced ITV in the United Kingdom will broadcast AEW Dynamite on taped-delay every Sunday from Sun 6 Oct at 8 am in the morning on ITV 4, followed by a one-hour highlights programme on ITV on Mon 7 Oct at 11.45pm.

There was some backlash to the news from UK fans who believe the deal is a poor one, as it the show airs many days after the live U.S. broadcast and also is in poor morning timeslot. British fans also pointed out that given AEW runs pay-per-views on Saturday it poses a problem.

AEW President Tony Khan was quick to reassure fans that they will endeavor to broadcast free to air broadcast of the most recent episode of AEW: Dynamite before Saturday PPVs including Full Gear.

In addition, the company has introduced a “live viewing solution” for fans in the United Kingdom with UK, Irish, and viewers able to purchase live episodes weekly at $2.99 per episode or $4.99 per month streaming service through FITE.

The plan will also apply to those outside the U.S. and Canada.
