WWE NXT: Matt Riddle To Challenge For NXT Championship Next Week

During tonight’s live edition of WWE NXT, Matt Riddle defeated Killian Dain in a Street Fight, and per a stipulation laid out by NXT General Manager William Regal, Riddle also earned the opportunity to challenge Adam Cole for the NXT Championship.

Following Riddle’s victory, it was announced that Cole will defend the title against Riddle on next week’s broadcast.

Following the match, Cole came to the ring to confront Riddle, telling him that the NXT Championship was his property and that Riddle would never be the champion. Riddle then locked in an armbar on Cole, forcing him to tap out until the rest of the Undisputed Era came to the ring, causing Riddle to escape the ring.
