Former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan Criticizes Sasha Banks For Blueprint Nickname

Former WWE Superstar Matt Morgan has criticized the WWE and Sasha Banks for the RAW star's new nickname 'The Blueprint'.

The name, a reference to Bank's new blue hair, was used by Michael Cole on this week's edition of RAW, though Morgan claims it should be his.

Speaking on the Wrestling Inc Podcast, Morgan says the four-time former RAW Women's Champion should have asked permission to use the nickname, that Morgan himself used in various promotions.

He said: "Here’s the thing, it’s cool that she wants to use it but she could’ve easily DMed me and said "Hey dude I have blue hair now I want to use the blueprint." You just do the common courtesy thing.

I know for a fact that 50% of the roster has already told her that she should've asked me."

Morgan also claimed that if Sasha was to ask him, he wouldn't be hard to find, saying:

"It’s not like she doesn’t know me, the girl works out at the same gym I do here in Orlando. There’s a poster hanging in the gym of me that says “Blueprint” Matt Morgan."

Morgan was part of WWE from 2002-2005, and with TNA Wrestling from 2008-2013, and made sporadic returns to the latter over the years.

After retiring from wrestling earlier this year, Morgan would become Mayor of Longwood, Florida in May 2019.
