WWE COO and head of NXT Triple H has denied rumors that Vince McMahon has been working with the developmental brand ahead of the USA Network move later this month.
Speaking to Talk Sport, the 14-time World Champion said that though his father-in-law could have a say in the brand's image, McMahon isn't a factor when it comes to the wrestling or storylines.
He said: "The truth is, at this point in time, he’s [McMahon] just said go out there and make this thing a success."
One of the most popular parts of WWE programming, NXT first launched in 2010, and had its relaunch as the company's developmental brand in 2012.Â
The show will extend to two hours and air live on the USA Network from September 18.Â
