Dolph Ziggler is not leaving WWE anytime soon despite a rumor circulating online which suggested he requested his release from the company after a handshake agreement with Vince McMahon.

Dave Meltzer of Wrestling Observer shot down the rumor which also suggested that McMahon broke his agreement and would now not be letting Ziggler quit the company but rather have him sit out his contract.

Meltzer noted the rumor is not true in the slightest.

Ziggler reportedly signed a multi-year WWE deal not so long ago, so it is unlikely he'll be leaving anytime soon.
