SmackDown Live kicks off with Shane McMahon accepting Kevin Owens' challenge to a match at SummerSlam. Owens has already offered up the stipulation that if he does not defeat McMahon, he will quit the company.

Shane refers back to a year ago when Owens "quit" the company and walked out live on RAW. McMahon says that the difference between then and now will be that Owens will put it in writing.

This match is now set to take place on August 11th, in Owens' home country of Canada.
