On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Drake Maverick defeated R-Truth to become the WWE 24/7 Champion for the second time.

The match occurred after Maverick and his wife Renee were preparing to leave the arena via the backstage area to go on their honeymoon. As Renee walked away to freshen up prior to the two leaving, a group of WWE Superstars ran by Maverick to try chasing after Truth, who was actually hiding from them. Maverick and Truth then spotted one another, and Maverick said he only wanted to go on his honeymoon. Truth turned and walked away, and Maverick attacked Truth by hitting him from behind with his suitcase. Maverick then pinned Truth to become the new champion.

As Maverick celebrated his win, Renee appeared once again, to which Maverick responded that they would now get to do their honeymoon the right way, which would be 24/7.
