According to PWInsider WWE signed Eric Bischoff as the lead executive of SmackDown creative in the last few weeks and Bischoff began rearranging his diary.

One of Bischoff's roles will be to directly deal with FOX when the blue brand moves to the network in the fall.

WWE are really keen to build a strong relationship with FOX and Bischoff's experience with televisions Network's will come in invaluable on a day-to-day basis.

"We are told that WWE approached him about the role and that his previous work in collaborating with Turner Broadcasting. Spike and other networks in building past TV series was one of the reasons Bischoff was pitched for the position."
