At tonight’s WWE Stomping Grounds event, Ricochet defeated Samoa Joe to become the brand new United States Champion, capturing his first championship in WWE.

Following the match, Ricochet made his way back to the gorilla position and was congratulated by fellow WWE Superstars such as Universal Champion Seth Rollins, Curt Hawkins, Zack Ryder, Carmella, Charlotte Flair, and Heavy Machinery. Ricochet was also congratulated by WWE COO Triple H.
