WWE Superstar Rusev has requested time away from the company, according to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter.

A three-time former United States Champion, Rusev last appeared on WWE TV at Super Showdown earlier this month, and has been seldom used throughout the majority of 2019.

According to Dave Meltzer, the Bulgarian Brute requested a break from the company, though it is unclear when, or if, he will return.
