In the main event of tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Universal Champion Seth Rollins defeated SmackDown Tag Team Champion Daniel Bryan in singles action.

Initially, Rollins defeated Bryan via disqualification following interference from Bryan's tag team partner, Rowan. This led to a double-team assault on Rollins by the SmackDown Tag Team Champions until Raw and SmackDown Superstars came to the ring and a brawl broke out. The match was then restarted with the stipulation that no one would be permitted at ringside.

Following the match, Rollins was attached on the entrance stage by Baron Corbin, who hit Rollins with a chair all the way down the ramp and to the ring. The show ended with Corbin holding the Universal Championship in the air.
