In the opening match of tonight's edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Ricochet emerged victorious in a Fatal 5 Way Elimination Match to earn the opportunity to challenge Samoa Joe for the United States Championship at this coming Sunday night's WWE Stomping Grounds event.

Ricochet outlasted Bobby Lashley, Braun Strowman, Cesaro, and The Miz to win the match.

Following the match, Samoa Joe attacked Ricochet from behind.
