Dave Meltzer of The Wrestling Observer is reporting a total of 137,600 fans tried to purchase tickets to AEW’s next event major event 'All Out' on Friday:
Meltzer revealed he's never heard a “pro wrestling show with this many people looking for tickets in history.”
Additionally, Meltzer compared the amount of potential tickets that could’ve been sold to the first time Anderson Silva fought in Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, which took place at UFC 134 in August 2011. He noted for that event, the UFC could’ve sold 150,000 tickets for that event, which was held in a 16,000-seat
The event sold out in just 15 minutes, according to the promotion.
The show, scheduled for August 31, in Chicago, Illinois, will see Kenny Omega Vs. Jon Moxley, as well as Adam 'Hangman' Page taking on Chris Jericho to crown the inaugural AEW World Champion.
