Ric Flair Releases Video Alleging Former Agent Embezzled Money From Him

WWE Hall of Famer Ric Flair has released a new video and has issued allegations toward his former agent, Melinda Morris Zanoni, claiming that she embezzled money from him.

Flair alleges in the video that Zanoni ignored a total of six requests to renew his multiple trademarks, all of which would have been abandoned had WWE not stepped in and helped him. Additionally, Flair alleges that Zanoni embezzled money from him during his recent medical scare.

Flair states the following in the video:

”Let’s just start with the fact that she stole money from me. She actually embezzled money from me - it’s documented, I got the records, and I’ve talked to an attorney prior to making this video.”

Flair further stated that it’s “human nature” to want to trust others, but that in this case, he was taken advantage of by someone that he had been friends with for 20 years.

Flair further claims that his wife had been contacted by Zanoni from a blocked phone number, and that the person on the other end told Flair’s wife not to “f*ck” with her. Following this incident, Flair made the decision to hire another attorney in an attempt to obtain his money. In the video, Flair then goes on to reprimand Zanoni for embezzling money from him, as well as putting out incorrect social media information while Flair was sick.

Flair was further quoted as stating the following in the video:

”Melinda, I don’t know how you live with yourself. 20 years friendship, 10 years my agent. Not a text, you didn’t drive down to the hospital. You just didn’t give a sh*t. And you assumed I was gonna die, like a lot of people did. And you just grabbed all the money you could run with.”

Flair initially sued Zanoni’s Legacy Talent back in 2017, in which he claimed they took approximately $46,000 in earnings from Flair for the ESPN 30 for 30 episode that Flair was the subject of. Flair’s lawyer additionally sent the agency a legal letter requesting that they remove an endorsement from their website that they claimed had been written by Flair.
