WWE Monday Night Raw Quick Results (5/27/19)

Below are quick results from tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw:

*A video package honoring Memorial Day is shown.

*Paul Heyman and Brock Lesnar are shown backstage, and Heyman suggests that they make their way to the ring. 

*WWE Champion Kofi Kingston comes to the ring and calls out Lesnar to make his decision on who he will cash in his Money in the Bank contract on. Universal Champion Seth Rollins then comes to the ring and does the same. Lesnar and Heyman then appear, with Lesnar again placing his briefcase on his shoulder like a boom box. Rollins walks away from the ring in disgust, and Heyman says that Lesnar won’t be announcing his cash-in opponent thanks to Rollins.

*Dolph Ziggler runs in from the crowd and attacks Kingston from behind. Xavier Woods makes the save. As Kingston is being helped to the back, Ziggler attacks Woods again, and the fight ends up in the ring. Soon after, Kingston reappears and Ziggler retreats. Kingston helps Woods into the ring, and Ziggler comes back out onto the stage to hype his WWE Championship match against Kingston at WWE Super ShowDown, saying that he will take the title.

*A Memorial Day party is shown hosted backstage by The Usos.

*Shane McMahon def. Lance Anoai following interference from Drew McIntyre. McMahon continues assaulting Anoai following the match, but is stopped by Roman Reigns.

*Brock Lesnar and Paul Heyman come to the ring, with Heyman announcing that it’s time for Lesnar to reveal who he will cash in his Money in the Bank contract against. Universal Champion Seth Rollins interrupts and says that the title is his life, then dares Lesnar to cash in on him. Heyman then reads some of the details of the contract to the referee in the ring. When he gets to the portion about Lesnar having one year to cash in, Lesnar stop him, repeats it, then hits Heyman with the contract. Lesnar reminds Rollins that he has a full year to cash in his contract, then tells Rollins “screw you” before walking away.”

*Backstage, AJ Styles reveals to Charly Caruso that he cannot compete in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match later in the night due to injury. The match will determine who faces Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown. Styles is then attacked by Baron Corbin, his replacement in the match.

*Raw Women’s Champion Becky Lynch & Nikki Cross def. WWE Women’s Tag Team Champions The IIconics in a non-title match.

*The Revival arrive to The Usos’s Memorial Day party, and Naomi reveals she invited them. She urges the two teams to start getting along.

*Ricochet def. Cesaro.

*Michael Cole announces that Rey Mysterio will relinquish the United States Championship on next week’s broadcast due to injury. Samoa Joe appears and says he will be on hand to take what he feels is rightfully his.

*Baron Corbin def. The Miz, Braun Strowman, and Bobby Lashley in a Fatal 4 Way Elimination Match to earn the right to face Seth Rollins for the Universal Championship at WWE Super ShowDown.

*Sami Zayn is the guest of the debut edition of the “Electric Chair” question-and-answer segment, hosted by Corey Graves. He answers questions from members of the audience, then at one point, tells them they need to step up the questions that they ask. Zayn says they can ask him anything they want, then openly name-drops All Elite Wrestling by stating that they can even ask him about the new rival promotion. Zayn further stated that he could win the Universal Championship anytime he wanted to when asked by a fan; however, he wasn’t concentrating on that right now. This brought out champion Seth Rollins, who threw the electric chair out of the ring and destroyed portions of it.
