At tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank event, Kofi Kingston emerged victorious over Kevin Owens to retain the WWE Championship.

Kingston’s victory came about after Owens attempted a Swanton Bomb from the top rope; however, Kingston got his knees up to counter the maneuver. Kingston then hit Owens with Trouble in Paradise and pinned him for the victory.
