At tonight’s WWE Money in the Bank event, Charlotte Flair defeated Becky Lynch to become the brand new SmackDown Women’s Champion.

Flair’s victory came about thanks to interference from Lacey Evans, whom Lynch had defeated moments before. Evans hit Lynch with her signature Woman’s Right, allowing Flair to then hit Lynch with a big boot for the win. 

Flair’s victory marks her ninth reign as champion.
