Deadline is reporting that Jon Moxley, formerly known as Dean Ambrose has joined the cast of the MMA action movie Cagefighter, which is currently in pre-production.

The film will also star Josh Herdman, Michael Jai White, Gina Gershon, Michelle Ryan, Jason Maza, Anderson Silva, Georges St Pierre and Alexander Gustafsson.

Cagefighter follows mixed martial arts champion Reiss (Herdman) who unexpectedly loses a heavily promoted match to Randy Stone, a WWE star who is making his crossover debut in the MMA fighting world.
