On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, Kofi Kingston defeated Daniel Bryan to retain the WWE Championship.

The was the second of two WrestleMania rematches made earlier in the night by Mr. McMahon, the other being Roman Reigns vs. Drew McIntyre. 

Kingston, Bryan, and Reigns were all permitted by McMahon to appear on Raw as part of a new “Wild Card Rule” instituted by McMahon, in which four (originally three) WWE Superstars from Raw and SmackDown LIVE would be allowed to appear on opposing brands every week.
