NXT UK's Rhea Ripley Apologizes After Using Homophobic Slur During Livestream

Posted By: Thomas Lowson on Apr 25, 2019

Former NXT UK Women's Champion Rhea Ripley has apologized after using a homophobic slur during a live stream on Twitch.

Ripley, 22, called a viewer of her live stream a "motherf****ing f*ggot, and received shocked looks by those she was with at the time.

Taking to twitter under real name Demi Bennett, the inaugural NXT UK Women's Champion apologised to those offended and said she believes everyone should be treated equally regardless of race or sexual orientation.
