During the most recent edition of the Wrestling Observer Radio, Dave Meltzer talked about UFC’s new PPV deal before switching topics and talking about WWE’s decision to put all of their PPV shows on the WWE Network. Originally they were no plans to put all WWE PPV's on the Network, and then things changed by WrestleMania was still set to remain on PPV.
Meltzer said, “Vince got convinced, because this was not Vince’s call originally. Originally they weren’t going to put the PPVs on. If you remember they were going to do eight of the PPVs which probably was the right call.”
Meltzer added that WrestleMania is no longer the WWE’s biggest money-making show. Unsurprisingly
the title now belongs to the Saudi Arabia shows because they’re “guaranteed, paid” shows.
