WWE Hall of Famer Jim Ross stated that he's surprised that with WrestleMania 35 right around the corner, one McIntyre doesn’t have a match at the biggest event of the year booked already.

Jim Ross said that he thinks that Drew needs to have a match booked at the biggest event. Ross went onto praise him and went on by stating that he believes McIntyre is the future of WWE.

“I was shocked in a certain sense that McIntyre was not figured higher in the card at WrestleMania. He’s the future, in a lot of ways. I still think he’s a big time player… He’s everything Vince [McMahon] likes. He’s a good-looking guy, he’s well-muscled, he’s in great shape. He works firm, stiff, and solid. And he’s different. I think he’s one of the key cogs to the future of the WWE, without a doubt.”
