MJF vs. Brian Pillman Jr. Announced For Major League Wrestling 'Rise of the Renegades'

Major League Wrestling (MLW) has announced that MJF vs. Brian Pillman Jr has been added to their Rise of the Renegades event which takes place on April 4 in New York at the Melrose Ballroom.

Below is the official press release:

NEW YORK – MJF detests the Hart Foundation. The bitter rivalry between MJF and the Hart Foundation has escalated in recent weeks and now Brian Pillman looks to silence the affluent obnoxious New Yorker on April 4th.

MLW today announced MJF vs. Brian Pillman Jr. for MLW’s April 4th (Rise of the Renegades) event at the Melrose Ballroom. The event will be a MLW FUSION TV taping for beIN SPORTS.

Tickets start at $20 at MLWTickets.com.

Emboldened since attacking Teddy Hart following a World Middleweight Championship bout, MJF and Richard Holliday have put the Hart Foundation on notice: a new dynasty has arrived in the sport. MJF has had some harsh words for each member of the Hart Foundation labeling them frauds and highlighting their notorious past.

Further inflaming the situation, MJF has recently scoffed at Brian Pillman Jr. being named the 2018 Rookie of the Year and vows to show the world MJF is better than you, better than the Hart Foundation and certainly better than Brian Pillman Jr.

Pillman, like MJF, is a 22 year old prodigy with a bright future. Like Teddy Hart and Davey Boy Smith Jr., Pillman isn’t your typical fan favorite. Playing by their own rules, the bad boys of pro wrestling collectively known as the Hart Foundation have emerged as one of the most dominant players in the sport over the past several months.

With both MJF and Pillman driven by their destinies to be the top pro wrestling in the game, they step onto the battlefield April 4th with ambitious and violent intentions. Which 22 year old will march on to victory road? Find out live in New York April 4 at the Melrose Ballroom as MLW presents a national TV taping for beIN SPORTS (buy tickets).

Tickets to witness the event live in New York start at $20 at MLWTickets.com. Tickets will also be available day of show at the box office unless the events sells out in advance.
