WWE Chairman Vince McMahon had come out to the ring, and was ready to host his segment moderating the AJ Styles and Daniel Bryan segment. After Vince came out, he said that the match with Shane McMahon and The Miz taking on The Bar will be a hell of a match. 

After this, Styles came out to the ring and so did the WWE Champion Daniel Bryan. The only difference is Bryan didn't enter the ring and stayed outside. After some talking back and forth, Vince urged Daniel to come in the ring about 3 times, but Daniel refused. Styles after going through this said the face to face does not have to be in the ring, and then he excited the ring to beat down Daniel Bryan.
