Legendary Wrestling Announcer/Promoter Larry Matysik Passes Away

Legendary wrestling announcer and promoter Larry Matysik has passed away at the age of 72, according to the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame Facebook page.

Longtime wrestling fans and historians may remember Larry as the host of Wrestling at the Chase, which was based out of St. Louis, Missouri. Larry also wrote several books about wrestling.

He was inducted into the St. Louis Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2007 and the National Wrestling Hall of Fame in 2014.
