In a press statement put out by WWE today, the company revealed the on-sale date for their WrestleMania travel packages.

In the release, it was revealed that the NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event has been changed to NXT Takeover: New York and will take place on the night before WrestleMania on April 6 from the Barclays Center in Brooklyn, NY.

The previous four NXT Takeover: Brooklyn events have all taken place the night before SummerSlam, so it seems the decision has been made to keep that event name exclusive to the summer event.

SummerSlam 2019 weekend will take place in Toronto, so it is possible there will be no NXT Takeover: Brooklyn next year.
