Here's something you don't hear often, the 1000th episode of WWE SmackDown on Tuesday beat Monday's Raw in the ratings! 

The show drew a respectable 2.545 million viewers, against Raw's  2.397 million viewers. The show was helped by the return of Batista (Evolution), Edge, Rey Mysterio and Undertaker. 

The show fought off stiff competition from the world of sport. Tuesday was the opening of the NBA regular season and Baseball held two playoff games. In drama, ABC’s "The Conners" premiered to 10.5 million viewers.
