WWE will broadcast the historic 1000th episode of SmackDown tonight on USA Network, which will see Rey Mysterio and a number of legends return for the celebrations of the blue brand which has been on the air since 1999.

Names already confirmed include Edge, Michelle McCool, Booker T, and many more.

The once cornerstone of SmackDown, The Undertaker is almost certain to appear as well as Evolution reuniting with Randy Orton, Triple H, and the return of Ric Flair and Batista! 

In terms of matches, two matches have been advertised, which are WWE Crown Jewel World Cup Qualifiers. The first sees Rusev vs. The Miz, whilst the second will see the return of Rey Mysterio against United States Champion, Shinsuke Nakamura.
