In the world of MMA, UFC star Conor McGregor was defeated in his return to the Octagon last night. He was submitted by Khabib Nurmagomedov in the main event of the UFC 229 pay-per-view from Las Vegas, Nevada’s T-Mobile Arena.

Khabib received the victory with a neck crank for the win.

The big story of the night was the huge brawl broke out between McGregor and Khabib in the crowd which created mass panic and security having to intervene to get the situation under control. In addition, Khabib’s team invaded the Octagon and attacked McGregor, creating a huge brawl inside the Octagon as well. The brawl drew comparisons to that of a WWE storyline.
