The WWE have reportedly been wanting to move Renee Young to a permanent spot on the RAW commentary team for a while, according to the Wrestling Observer.

Reports said that many backstage thought Young would be a better fit for the desk than previous commentator Jonathon Coachman, and these feelings were only reinforced when she took a spot during the RAW before Summerslam.

Renee's first RAW as a permanent member of the team took place this week, with NXT star Kayla Baxton replacing the Canadian as a backstage interviewer.
