Former Tag Team Champion 'Road Dogg' Jesse James has responded to a fan online who said how Becky Lynch should be the face in her feud with Charlotte Flair.

At Summerslam, Lynch turned on Flair, after she won her seventh Women's championship, in a triple threat match that was supposed to be a singles match between Lynch and then-champion Carmella. 

James, who now works as a writer for WWE, said that the company are listening to fans who believe Lynch is right to turn on her former best friend.

I’d ask you if she needs the title if she’s super over already. I don’t disagree with you but I want you to think about it. Austin/Rock were super over and didn’t always have the title.
