Former World Championship Wrestling (WCW) competitor Frank Andersson has passed away at the age of 62, according to a report from WrestleZone.
Andersson made appearances on WCW's Pro and Worldwide programs in the early 1990s after spending a brief period of time in New Japan Pro Wrestling. Before his professional wrestling career, Andersson enjoyed tremendous success as a Greco-Roman amateur wrestler, winning numerous gold medals and world championships. He also competed in the 1984 Summer Olympics, where he won a bronze medal.
Andersson was reportedly suffering from heart problems in his final days and passed away some time today, September 9th.
