Roman Reigns Wins Universal Championship At WWE SummerSlam

At tonight’s WWE SummerSlam event, Roman Reigns defeated Brock Lesnar to become the brand new Universal Champion for the first time in his career. 

Reigns pinned Lesnar following a Spear after Lesnar concentrated on attacking Braun Strowman at ringside. Strowman had come down prior to the start of the match and announced he would cash in his Money in the Bank contract on the winner that night; however, Reigns attempted to leap onto Lesnar at ringside, but Lesnar sidestepped and Reigns took out Strowman instead. Lesnar then attacked Strowman with both the briefcase and a steel chair, and also threw the briefcase towards the entrance stage.

Victory for Reigns came as Lesnar was reentering the ring holding a chair. He tried hitting Lesnar with it, but was hit with the Spear and pinned.
