NJPW Star KUSHIDA Returns To ROH And Will Be A Part Of Death Before Dishonor TV Tapings

ROH announced KUSHIDA will be headed to their Death Before Dishonor TV tapings in Las Vegas on September 29 at the Orleans Arena.

Below is the official announcement from their website.

KUSHIDA, one of the top junior heavyweights in the world, makes his return to Ring of Honor at the Death Before Dishonor TV Taping in Las Vegas on Sept.29.

While New Japan Pro-Wrestling is KUSHIDA’s home promotion, he also has made his presence felt in ROH in recent years. The five-time former IWGP Junior Heavyweight Champion and two-time winner of the prestigious Best of the Super Juniors tournament held the ROH World Television Title for more than four months last year after winning it from Marty Scurll, and he came up just short against then-ROH World Champion Cody at Global Wars in October.

At the Best in the World pay-per-view this past June, KUSHIDA pushed Jay Lethal to the limit before ultimately losing to the man who would go on to win the ROH World Title the following night. KUSHIDA immediately got back in the win column before returning to Japan by defeating Jonathan Gresham on a recent episode of “Ring of Honor Wrestling.”

Who in ROH will KUSHIDA attempt to take Back to the Future or trap in a Hoverboard Lock next? Join us in person at the Death Before Dishonor TV Taping to find out!

Death Before Dishonor Weekend returns to Las Vegas, the Fight Capital of the World, LIVE on pay-per-view and for HonorClub VIP on Friday, Sept. 28 at 9 PM ET/6 PM PT, and returns the next night for an international television taping with all of your favorite ROH stars! Championships will be decided and feuds ended and you can watch it all LIVE IN VEGAS!
