On the latest edition of Wrestling Observer Radio, Brian Pillman Jr was interviewed and revealed some early memories of his Father. He said he remembered when his Dad had to wear a dress during his feud with Goldust.

He also revealed that when his family was informed of his Father's death he thought he death was a work and part of a storyline like Pillman/Austin and the gun. 

Pillman was found dead in his hotel room in on October 5, 1997. He was 35 years old. An autopsy attributed that Pillman's death was from a heart attack. However it transpired he had an undetected arteriosclerotic heart disease, which had also led to the death of Pillman's father.
