Corey Graves tweeted out a statement about social media becoming a "very toxic place" and has found it "more exhausting than productive". He posted a screenshot of the same comments on his Instagram and disabled the comments section.
Unfortunately, social media has become a very toxic place. People don’t know where to draw the line.— The Great Corey Graves (@WWEGraves) August 5, 2018
It’s become more exhausting than productive to me. Some things in life are more important than “likes” and “followers.”

Renee Young chimed in with agreement with his comments.
Agreed! Some people gotta ruin everything. Be cool, man. Or like, get a real life hobby away from the internet. I promise there’s nice things in the world. And good friends to be had.— Renee Young (@ReneeYoungWWE) August 5, 2018
There also were a few people saying that he'd be back in a day or two along with various other comments.
