Aleister Black Injured During Recent WWE NXT Live Event, TakeOver: Brooklyn Status Questionable

ProWrestlingSheet.com is reporting that WWE NXT Superstar and former NXT Champion Aleister Black suffered a torn groin during this past weekend’s NXT live event in Las Vegas, Nevada. Black has since undergone surgery for the injury.

The report further states that since the normal recovery time for a procedure like this is three weeks or longer, Black’s status for the upcoming NXT TakeOver: Brooklyn event is currently in “major jeopardy.”

As previously reported, Black is currently scheduled to compete in a Triple Threat Match at the event against NXT Champion Tommaso Ciampa and Johnny Gargano. The match is scheduled to be for the NXT Championship.

WrestlingNewsSource.com will post more updates regarding this story as they become available.
