In a recent interview with German Suplex Talk, Bobby Lashley spoke about HHH's thoughts on a return to WWE:

Lashley stated: "I remember the one thing, I talked to HHH before I came back and he said 'You know when some people leave you can see how some people mature.' A statement Lashley attributed to others who leave and then let themselves go physically and mentally.

Lashley added: "When [HHH] saw me he was like, 'Damn, you look almost better than you did when you were here before!', so he [HHH] says 'There's a tremendous amount of money left in you and I'd love to see you come back.'

Bobby Lashley returned on the April 9 episode of RAW, the night after WrestleMania 34, where he attacked WWE Superstar Elias. Most recently, Lashley defeated Roman Reigns at Extreme Rules, but went on to lose a #1 contender match for the WWE Universal Championship to face current champion Brock Lesnar nearly two weeks later on RAW. An opponent for this year's SummerSlam has yet to be named, but with three more RAWs until the event, an opponent will likely materialize.
