At tonight’s WWE Extreme Rules event, Raw General Manager Kurt Angle was interviewed backstage, stating that he had important information regarding the WWE Universal Championship.

Angle stated that he had reopened negotiations with Paul Heyman regarding when Lesnar’s next title defense would be, but Heyman stated that Lesnar had no interest in returning to WWE at this time. Angle further expressed his anger at Lesnar for refusing to defend the title against the winner of the previously-proposed “multi-man match” that would have taken place at tonight’s event, as well as facing any other opponent in WWE, and further berated Lesnar for showing up to a recent UFC event instead of appearing for WWE.

Angle said that because of this, both he and the WWE Universe were tired of the entire situation, and that he would be issuing an ultimatum to Lesnar. He stated that Lesnar could either show up on tomorrow night’s edition of Raw, reopen negotiations regarding when his next title defense will be, or be stripped of the Universal Championship.
