On tonight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, it was officially announced by General Manager Kurt Angle that a singles match between Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley will take place at the upcoming Extreme Rules event.

It was suggested on last week’s broadcast that the match may take place after Angle announced that the proposed “multi-man match” to determine Brock Lesnar’s next challenger for the Universal Championship had been scrapped due to “contractual snags” involving Lesnar. Angle then stated that he would be taking a potential match between Reigns and Lashley at Extreme Rules “under advisement.”
