On tomight’s edition of WWE Monday Night Raw, General Manager Kurt Angle announced that at the upcoming Extreme Rules event, a “multi-person match” will take place in order to determine the number-one contender for the WWE Universal Championship. The winner of that match will be the next individual to challenge Brock Lesnar for the title in Lesnar’s next title defense.

Angle further stated that Roman Reigns and Bobby Lashley would be two of the participants in the “multi-person match,” and that the remaining participants would be announced at a later date.
