SmackDown Not Broadcasting Live On The West Coast After FOX Move

SmackDown Live will no longer be live, on the West Coast, after the brand moves to FOX next year.

According to PWInsider's Mike Johnson, time restraints are causing the change, as the show would have to broadcast at 5pm if they were live on the West Coast.

He said: "If they are going to do SmackDown Live, they would have to broadcast it at 5PM from the west coast. You figure on a Friday coming home from work and stuff, it would be a pain in the butt. Most people don’t get out of work until 5 O’clock.”

The blue brand is scheduled to air on FOX in fall 2019, after their current contract with the USA Network expires.
