2018 WWE Hall of Fame inductee Jeff Jarrett recaptured the Asistencia Asesoría y Administración Mega Championship on Sunday night in Monterrey, Nuevo León, Mexico.

Jarrett made a surprise appearance at the Verano de Escándalo event and defeated Rey Mysterio and Dr. Wagner Jr. in a Triple Threat Match to become a two-time AAA Mega Champion.

As fans may recall, Jarrett had previously won the AAA Mega Championship back in 2011 at Triplemanía XIX and brought the belt with him to Impact Wrestling.
