Neville walked out of WWE in October of last year and hasn't been seen on our screen since with speculation suggesting he is done with the company and is sitting out his contract.
There have been some reports that suggest attempts have been made by WWE to convince the former cruiserweight champion to return but those talks have seemingly stalled or failed.Ā
Neville is no doubt viewed as a hot prospect for any indy promotion to have apart of their roster and Impact Wrestlingās World Champion Austin Aries a former rival of Neville in WWE has suggested that he come over to Impact to wrestle him again.
Aries responded to a fan on Twitter who shared a clip of him and Neville wrestling last year, he tweeted:
"And life was never the sameā¦
Dejected, almost amused at my repeated failure, whoād have known this moment here would be the catalyst for so much future success.
Ā
And to my victorious opponentā¦Iād love to do it again, shackles off, whenever youāre done serving your timeā¦"
The "serving your time" an obvious referenceĀ to WWE's strict non-compete clause which is forcing Neville to sit out his contract before he decided on his future.
