Ring of Honor Wrestling has announced that former ROH Pure Champion and former Impact Wrestling X Division Champion, World Television Champion, and World Tag Team Champion Douglas Williams will be returning to ROH to challenge for the ROH World Television Championship at Honor United: Doncaster on May 27th. If Silas Young is still the Television Champion, then it will be Young vs. Williams for the TV Title in Doncaster, England.

The 45-year-old Williams, who is also a former New Japan IWGP World Tag Team Champion, Pro Wrestling NOAH GHC World Tag Team Champion, and Ohio Valley Wrestling Heavyweight Champion, has not competed for ROH since 2015 when ROH did some cross-promotional shows with the Preston City Wrestling promotion in Preston, England.
