As was previously reported, former WWE Cruiserweight Champion Rich Swann will be working the June 1st and June 2nd Impact Wrestling/Border City Wrestling television tapings.

In an update on Swann's future, PWInsider.com reports that Swann has not yet signed any kind of a long-term deal with Impact Wrestling.

PWInsider.com's Mike Johnson also discussed the possibility of Swann returning to WWE someday. Johnson speculates that Swann could possibly return to WWE at some point:

“I think WWE will bring him back at some point. Whenever somebody gets in trouble, WWE has them serve their penance and then they eventually get brought back into the fold. I think that is the process that Rich Swann is in right now. He’s working for Impact but he’s not signing a 5-year contract.”
