Why Can't WWE Mention Bobby Lashley's First Run With The Company?

WWE has reportedly decided not to mention Bobby Lashley's history with the company, due to his first run being connected to current U.S. President, Donald Trump.

According to Dave Meltzer, the company have decided to avoid any mention of the current President, due to Trump being perceived as a highly controversial figure.

Lashley, who was with WWE from 2005-2008, represented Trump at WrestleMania 23's 'Battle of the Billionaires', against Vince McMahon's representative Umaga.

After Lashley defeated Umaga, the former ECW Champion, along with Trump and guest referee 'Stone Cold' Steve Austin, shaved McMahon bald.

Donald Trump was elected President in November 2016,  as a representative for the Republican Party, but his campaign has been alleged of collusions with Russia during the election, with Trump being accused of an alleged affair with an adult-entertainment actress.
